A dozen chewy sourdough chocolate chip cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies — Dozen

$22per dozen

Twelve chewy, gooey chocolate chip cookies with a secret weapon: sourdough discard. That little tang cuts the sweet just right, so you can eat three before you notice. Crisp edges, soft middles, puddles of real chocolate. Baked fresh Friday and Saturday in Collierville — grab yours at Sunday pickup before they're gone. Twelve cookies. Zero regrets.

The Story

Every sourdough baker has the same problem: discard. Lizz refused to throw hers out, so she started folding it into cookie dough — and accidentally created the most-requested item on the Wild Child menu. The discard does real work here. It deepens the flavor, keeps the centers gooey for days, and adds a barely-there tang that makes regular chocolate chip cookies taste flat by comparison. Each batch is mixed small, scooped by hand, and baked Friday and Saturday in her Collierville kitchen. Heads up from the regulars: a dozen sounds like a lot until they're on your counter. Then it's Sunday again and you're back in the pickup line. We don't make the rules.
